Noel Harding
Bio

Noel Harding (Toronto) is recognized for monumental scale public art projects, and his work which includes sculpture and photography installations explore elaborate and complex environments, which centres on the interaction of props and settings.

As a sculptor he has worked with teams of diverse professionals within elaborate and complex contexts. From organizing his works into major touring museum exhibitions such as "Anti Heroes" in Moscow, Budapest, Bratislava, and Helsinki, to commissions for major theatrical productions, such as "Carrots Rabbits Elephants" at The Holland Festival, Amsterdam, he makes evident the capacity to accomplish organizational and technical demands while sustaining creative integrity and popular appeal. Harding's work can be found in numerous collections, including: The Museum of Modern Art, New York; The Art Gallery of Ontario, Toronto; The National Gallery of Canada, Ottawa; The Palais des Beaux Arts, Brussels and The Hara Museum, Tokyo. Harding's work has been featured in more than 70 solo shows and has been included in over 100 group exhibitions. Recent exhibitions include Museum of Contemporary Art, Toronto (2003), Dyan Marie Projects, Toronto (2005), and has been developing, with others, The Green Corridor, a groundbreaking initiative for generating a green redevelopment of the international bridge corridor linking Canada (from Windsor) to the United States.
