...................poking out of a
...................strange white cast on his foot
waiting for the traffic light
to somewhere
or else leaning against
the new stone benches
where there used to be
....................................grass
and birds
And you’ll always be going
by on a bus
...................wondering why
...................you dont seem to get down here much
...................anymore
till the light changes
and you at least
or maybe both of you
move off
