Victoria University in the University of Toronto, The Lester B. Pearson Garden for Peace and Understanding (east of E.J. Pratt Library at 71 Queen's Park Crescent East)
[In association with Victoria University in the University of Toronto].

Garden of Light reflected on the idea of the garden, with the floating lily as a symbol of peace. The light within the flower illuminated the water garden, interspersed with night-blooming lilies to highlight this tranquil site, offered the visitor a place of beauty and reflection. Ceramic texts of individual letters spelled out the word 'eventually' and were placed randomly about the pool.

Designed by noted landscape architect Paul Ehnes, The Lester B. Pearson Garden for Peace and Understanding provides a serene oasis commemorating Pearson's life, work, and contribution to world peace. It is an eloquent statement of what Pearson, Canada's fourteenth Prime Minister and recipient of the Nobel Peace Prize, believed in.
