Gladstone Hotel, 1214 Queen Street West (2nd floor exterior windows and interior room #209)


Bruno Billio transforms the windows of his parlour into a light installation on the exterior of the Gladstone Hotel. Viewed from Queen Street West, the blinking lights invited the visitor to tour Billio's room, while expressing the energy of the unique space he occupied – a salon in the heart of toronto. Other surprises awaited the visitor in a van parked nearby.
