In Urbanity Humanity, a diverse range of community artists produce an eclectic mix of work that touches on the visual, social and tactile impressions of the city. From photographic documentation of urban decay to HIV+ propaganda posters, jewellery and mixed media to the sounds of live jazz, participants showcase a remarkable selection of art across disciplines. Urbanity Humanity takes place at Beaver Hall Gallery and is produced by residents of the Beaver Hall Artists’ Co-operative, a Toronto co-operative that is dedicated to providing live-work space for working visual artists.
