Installation, Sculpture, Video Installation, Multimedia Installation
This sculptural installation with video projections involves a life-size streetscape in which Atom Egoyan
shot his most recent film, "Adoration". The script revolves around a high school student who
claims to be a tragic figure from recent history while online, an act that contributes to the creation
of a community of people mourning a catastrophe that never happened.
'Adoration' is basically about kids redefining themselves through the internet," Egoyan told
the LA Times. "This whole phenomenon of being one personality in school and being able to use technology
to create a whole different identity."
The film set involves video projections.
