The Institute for Contemporary Culture at the Royal Ontario Museum hosts the 2008 Sobey Art Award, an
exhibition of major recent works by five short-listed Canadian artists, presented by Scotiabank. The
five finalists represent the remarkable breadth of practices that make up contemporary Canadian art.
The winner of the 2008 Sobey Art Award will be announced at the Royal Ontario Museum on October 1, 2008.
