A Certain Solitude
Continuing with a theme often explored in photography including by such notables as Walker Evans, Bruce
Davidson and Daido Moriyama, these images capture those unguarded “in-between” moments many
of us spend in transit between the various facets of our lives. Neither at work, home or play, it is
these moments that time becomes most clearly apparent. A certain solitude for reflection, idle pastimes
or an opportunity to observe the world as we pass it by and contemplate the deep mysteries of the lives
of those that make the journey with us.
